A place where you can make a difference!
Centro Shalom is a church in a desperately poor area close to the maquiladora region of Otay Mesa. The children live in makeshift shacks along a filthy river bed with toxic run-off from the factories. Wait until you see their beautiful faces light up with you hand them a plate of healthy food or share a craft or a smile with a child. You'll be glad you went!
All are welcome to join us for those wonderful Saturday mission trips to Tijuana! Simply come to one of our monthly meetings or sign up for a trip. We feed around 300 children and spend some time with them sharing Christ's love. We take blankets in February, Easter treats in April, otter pops and summer fun in June, backpacks with school supplies in August, a fall festival in October, and shoe box presents in December.
Come and meet our team! The meetings that are listed are held here at the church from 7:00 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. usually on the first Monday of each month.

No special skills are required. You don't need to know Spanish. Just willing to work and be blessed!
